Every human being long to be loved; some just don’t know how to display it. One of the positives of the young generation is that they taught us to hug. Lately everyone hugs, and hardly anyone shy away. A hug is welcoming and says “you’re special and it’s great to see you”.
Admitted there are people who don’t like it if you invade their space, but I’m sure even they have a yearning to be loved albeit in a different way.
