“It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not.” ― Andre Gide
Who are you?
Are you true to yourself or are you projecting an ‘acceptable’ image? Do you say and do the right things in front of the right people? Do you project one image at work and another at home?
Don’t you think you are crucifying the real you? In all fairness, it doesn’t guarantee acceptance. Every time the powers that be changes, you have to change your personality again. Besides it being very tiring to play a role, it is not sustainable. Sooner or later the real you will surface.
Authenticity is a scarce, but much needed commodity in the world of business.
